Back Four years on; discover the lasting impact of winning

Tell us a bit about Bite IT Marketing

At Bite IT Marketing, we live by the mantra “the hustle, not the hassle.” We’re a B2B technology marketing agency that acts as an extension of your team, helping vendors, distributors, resellers, and managed‑services providers in cyber‑security, cloud, and SaaS accelerate growth with no‑fluff, results‑driven strategies.

What inspired you to nominate your company for the Growing Business Awards?

As a small but ambitious agency, we’ve always believed that size doesn’t define impact.

When we saw the Growing Business Awards call for entries, we asked ourselves: why not us? We knew we had a story worth telling about building momentum for clients, and about proving that a lean, focused team can deliver big results. Entering was less about chasing recognition and more about holding up a mirror to our journey, celebrating the resilience and creativity that got us here.

What growth have you seen in your business since winning the award?

Winning Micro Business of the Year has been a turning point. The award gave us instant credibility with prospects and partners, it validated our approach and reassured clients that they were working with the best‑in‑class agency.

Since then, we’ve seen new client wins across Europe - particularly in cyber‑security and SaaS, stronger partnerships with distributors and resellers who now see us as a trusted extension of their teams, and team growth, with new hires bringing fresh energy and expertise to support our expanding portfolio.

The award didn’t just open doors, it accelerated conversations. It gave us confidence to scale our Marketing‑as‑a‑Service offering and invest in areas like paid media and SEO, knowing we had the recognition to back up our ambition.

How has winning the award helped facilitate that growth?

Awards are more than trophies; they’re signals. For us, the win signaled to the market that Bite IT Marketing is serious about impact. It’s also been a morale boost internally. The team feels proud, motivated, and more willing to push boundaries creatively because they know their work is award‑winning.

Winning Micro Business of the Year has been both a milestone and a catalyst. It reminded us that even the smallest teams can make the biggest impact when they combine technical expertise with creative flair.

The award was the launchpad for the next chapter of growth. It was one of my proudest moments winning this award. It still brings me joy.

What advice would you give to businesses and entrepreneurs starting out in your sector today?

If you’re starting out in B2B tech marketing, here’s my honest advice; don’t wait until you’re 'ready'. Enter awards, pitch big clients, and take risks earlier than you think. Recognition often comes from courage, not perfection.

Also, empower your team. Growth isn’t just about winning clients, it’s about enabling your people to deliver consistently and confidently.

I'll finish with this: be prepared for the hard graft. As an agency, your clients expect you to know more than them, so you need to hustle to stay ahead and that means long hours and commitment.
